In addition, data is processed to safeguard our legitimate interests.

The processing of your data may also be carried out by other departments within myStromer AG. In some cases, we also use external service providers for processing. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our policies and are regularly monitored.

The specific processing purposes, the data concerned and the legal basis for data processing are listed below.

We log your visit to our websites. The following data is processed: the name of the website you visit, the date and time of your visit, the amount of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system you use, the referrer URL (the page previously visited), your IP address and the requesting provider. 4a. Contacting Our Dealer Partners.

When you contact us via one of our contact forms or by email in order to be put in touch with an authorised dealer, your data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of handling and processing your request. The data concerned includes: your email address, surname, first name, subject, message and any other information you may optionally provide. This data is processed by us on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4b. Test Ride Booking.

You can book a test ride of a Desiknio e-bike via our website. To process your booking and arrange an appointment with your nearest authorised dealer, we collect the following data: your first name and surname, email address, preferred date and location, and any additional information you optionally provide.

Your booking data will be shared with the relevant authorised dealer solely for the purpose of scheduling and conducting your test ride. The dealer will use this data only in connection with your appointment.

We process this data on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, in which case your booking request will be cancelled. Please note that we may need to retain certain data for a limited period to confirm or cancel an existing appointment.

5. Newsletter.

To receive promotional information, e.g. about our products and special offers, by email, you can subscribe to our newsletter. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we use the data you have entered. The data concerned includes: your email address, surname, first name and any other information you may optionally provide.

Transmission of your data to third parties and third countries: Messages are sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France). We evaluate the information during dispatch in order to optimise or improve our email marketing. The newsletter is sent exclusively on the basis of your prior consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

If you are under 16 years of age, the consent of a parent or guardian is required for newsletter registration. Newsletter registration is carried out using the double opt-in procedure. To prevent misuse, we will send you an email after registration asking you to confirm your registration. In order to be able to verify the registration process in accordance with legal requirements, your newsletter registration is logged. This includes storing the registration and confirmation time as well as the IP address. Changes are logged by the newsletter service provider we use.

You can revoke your consent to receive a newsletter by email at any time. There is an unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter. If you have only registered for our newsletter and cancel this registration, your personal data will be deleted.

Transactional emails, i.e. event-related individual messages that are automatically sent due to a previously defined event, are part of the legal basis for processing and do not require an explicit opt-in.

6. Dealer & Store Locator.

This website uses Storepoint to display authorised Desiknio dealers and test ride locations. The provider is Storepoint, Inc. To display relevant locations, your approximate location may be used (only with your explicit browser permission). The IP address is processed to determine the general region for display purposes.

The use of Storepoint is in the interest of providing an appealing presentation of our dealer network and making it easy to find nearby dealers and test ride locations. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and where location data is requested, consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. Website Analysis.

In order to analyse user behaviour on our website and to optimise our online offering, we use certain cookies that store your IP address. Data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where required.

7a. Server Log Files.

The host of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
